Re: SBA 5" Ceramic Kit

There will be two versions.  Due to a mixup, the first one was done with the new Beryllium tweeter.  http://www.sbacoustics.com/index.php/coming-soon/sb29bac-c000-4/

The second version will be with the SB29SDAC

Re: SBA 5" Ceramic Kit

I had expected to have it ready in April, but the kit uses a 5x8" passive radiator that SB has not shipped yet.  We are hoping for sometime this summer.

Re: Continuum II vs Viva Voce

These speakers seem very similar.. why would Jeff create both? Is it recommended to build one of these, or to wait for dayton audio to come out w/ their new replacement tweeter for the Continuum? You can find hosting for $5.00 and under per month if you want your own site.  Otherwise, Amazon Web Services  (AWS) will host files for free and you only pay when they are viewed and it is only pennies then.

Re: Painting a baffle

I'd do the veneer first and put a clear coat on it.   Mask it off and then paint with black.    If you use a water-based black paint, it would be easier to remove any stray black that gets on the veneer.

Re: Hi-vi m6a?

Unless there is a huge demand, I think Paul will let the Swope series die.
