DIY Speaker Project PAD

Nice job! I like the grill treatment you chose. And the Marantz, of course.   It's a great looking combo and reminds me of the stereos of my youth.

How did you create the label for the back?

For a roll-on water-based semi-flat black, I'm really partial to General Finishes Lamp Black paint. I've sprayed it too, but it needs a little thinning with water to spray best.

It can be purchased at woodworking retailers like Woodcraft or Rockler.

Even a simple speaker is not as simple as it seems. Judging from your questions, it appears that this will be a first-time project for you. The color combination is fresh and lively. Sometimes it gets repetitious looking at black baffles and wood veneer.
