New found use for resistors

Post by Crash27 » Mon Sep 23, 2013 8:54 pm

I bought a couple resistors, and was invited to this forum to tell about my DIY project. Funny. It has nothing to do with speaker building. I actually needed the resistors to "fool" my Chevy Suburban into thinking it still had electronic dampening shocks in the front. The OEM shocks had a built in resistance of 2.2 ohms, so I needed to splice in the resistors so the computer would see a "load", and not light up my dash with "SERVICE RIDE CONTROL" warnings.

We use them to ignite rocket engines.
