Overnight Sensation Center Channel (First Build!!)

Well, here goes! I used part of my tax refund this year to finally start a project I've been dreaming of for a very long time. Ordered the http://meniscusaudio.com/overnight-sens ... -1300.html MMTMM Center Channel speaker kit with crossovers already built. Sadly, when it arrived I was in the middle of a two month long work stretch so I'm only now getting the chance to start. This is my first speaker build and I'm a bit nervous about actually getting a good quality build with my rusty woodworking skills....but oh well, here it goes!

First off, the kit I received was amazing! Perfectly laid out, lots of information, and very good quality parts. I was thrilled! You can imagine how frustrating it was to have to set the box out in the shop for a month to wait while I flew off for work...

But...today I'm finally getting started! I picked up a sheet of 1/2" MDF from Home Depot and I'm ready rock. After taking an hour or so to clean up, pull tools, arrange my work area, I'm ready to go.

I'm going to go more or less step by step over my next few posts. Please jump in with any comments or suggestions. I have another MTM project I'm doing after this one...
