Retrofit Klipsch LCR

I have a set of RF35 8" towers and RC35 6.5 center channel, all horn loaded that I want to refit with some higher end drivers. I can't seem to sell them so I can build a set of MTM's for LCR and I'm not looking forward to battling with the wife about the perfectly "good" speakers I already have so why not use the boxes I already have. I would revise the horn area to accept a dome tweeter and as of now they are wide open except for a 4" x 2 1/2" port on the back. I planned on getting with Chad for advise on drivers and crossovers and also plan on ending up with a 4 ohm setup to be driven with a 330 watt Emovita 3 channel amp. Any thoughts? Towers are 40" tall x 9" wide x 14" deep and center is 23" x 8" x 11"
