Hi everyone,
I have been asked to design a studio monitor using the ATC SM75-150S 3" dome midrange driver. Since this driver is so hard to get your hands one, and since it has near-legendary reputation as a mid, I thought I would submit of full review with measurements and subjective listening thoughts. You can download the full review in pdf form here: https://app.box.com/s/j1pwj8exbmioz350nu0n
Comments are welcome,
Jeff B.

Thanks for the full write up Jeff, I've wondered about that driver for a long time. Sounds like a true winner acoustically.

Thank you.
I've heard ATC speakers sound amazing--particularly their midrange--thanks to this driver. I hope to someday audition an ATC speaker.

ATC Speakers are in my mind probably the best at mid-range, even nearly 2 years later. I recently purchased some second-hand SCM40's, not cheap at all but f*ck me the sound quality is incredible. When I heard them I knew straight away I wanted them. The crispness of sound on all levels just blows me away any time I listen to anything through them, movies, music, whatever. No colour or muddiness. I found my set on this site, they even have some of the SCM40s on there now, along with the SCM50s (which are active as well). I'll never be buying another brand ever again.
