After finishing up the cosmetics of the speaker and putting them back together I noticed I was back at the 'No Bass' category. I rebuilt the crossovers with air core inductors, I took them apart and changed polarity each way possible, made sure everything was sealed and beat my head against a wall searching for the bass. Then I fired them up accidentally with the rear access panel off and there was a very pleasant amount of bass. The difference between having the access panel on and off is day and night. With it off the speakers reached down much farther with much fuller bass. Would this be a porting issue? I'm currently using the 2" ID port provided but have not altered the length or made any other modifications.
