Continuum Cabinet Rebuild with Plyboo

Post by lima3 » Sat Aug 24, 2013 1:26 pm

I recently built the Continuum speakers, and love em. We recently remodeled our kitchen with Plyboo, and have extra sheets. Of course I'm going to redo the cabinets to match. Here are my questions:

1. I want to permanently glue the baffle so there are no screw heads showing. I'm thinking glue up the top with two sides, glue the baffle to the 3 sides, then add the bottom last. If I do it this way, then there would be no mounting strips. Any issues with this, or a better way?

2. This one is more difficult. Any techniques to mount the woofer from the inside without screws?

I'm really looking for a clean look. Here's a pic. I want the routed edge of the plyboo to wrap the baffle

You can use battens to screw down over the flange from the rear, and anchor it that way.
