Greetings from a fellow Grand Rapidian!
I've been around the PETT boards for a little while now so some of you know me. I'm a medically retired, disabled, combat vet. I've recently moved home to Grand Rapids and suddenly remembered Meniscus Audio Group is right down the road. I've built a set of TriTrix TLs with some success but my real passion is car audio. I just bought a 1988 Ford Conversion Van and salvaged most of my gear from my recently totaled GTI, so I have a Pioneer DEH-80PRS (look it up, it's arguably the 2nd highest rated audiophile deck on the market), a four channel Kicker amp for my front stage (which is on a short list to be replaced), a12" Kicker Comp, and a Soundstream 360.2 to power it. All I really need is a good set of speakers for my doors. I've been giving a lot of thought to 6.5" Silver Flutes and BG Neo 3's actively crossed around 2k. Tomorrow I'm hoping and to stop by Meniscus and take a look at these components to see if they're a physical good choice.
So that's kinda me and what I'm working on at the moment.

Re: Intro
I installed my Pioneer DEH-80PRS today, much improved sound with just that upgrade. Stopped by meniscus too and ordered a pair of flutes and neo 3's. They only had one 4 ohm flute and one of their neo 3 PDR's needs the back cup reinstalled, but they said they'd have it all ready to go tomorrow.
