Hello from the Midwest

Post by hdspeakerman » Wed Nov 13, 2013 8:47 pm

Hi fellow speaker enthusiast,
My name is Howard. Some of you may know me from the PE tech talk. I don't talk much but I have been around for a while. I am working on my first design with guidance from Ryan Bouma via email. He has been very patient and has me working on my first crossover. I have met the folks here at Meniscus and I have nothing but good things to say about them. My biggest problem with my speaker habit is that my basement is almost full of my projects and collectibles. I hope to see some of you at Jeff's seminar. Glad to be here.

Hi Matt.
I am working with the Aurum Cantus AC130mk2 and the SB Acoustic SB29RDNC. I have to repeat some of my measurements before I can get going in PCD. I have built the boxes and am actually using them with a Radio Shack two way crossover. They sound remarkably good. Ryan says he thinks they will be better when I get the crossover worked out. I am enjoying them in the mean time.

Hello Johnny. Your website seems to be doing well. I am very happy that you
and your daughter have been able to share speaker building. It looks like things
are going great.

Thanks Howard,

Yeah I try to post somewhat regular updates on the Facebook page - and my daughter is still enjoying the little project we did together.

She informed me she is ready for something bigger lol
