Continuum Cabinent - work with another kit?

Post by lima3 » Sat Feb 15, 2014 1:16 pm

I recently built new plyboo cabinets for my Continuum kit, replacing another cabinet. I love the speaker, but wondered if my old cabinet would work with another kit? I'd just change the baffle. Besides Continuum, I've built the Tritrix, O.S., and GR Research sub kits. Still learning and having fun.

Thanks,

Greg

If you change the baffle it could work for the Piccolo. It's about the same size.

Thanks Jeff,

I read your write-up on the Piccolo, and the vented version sounds interesting. I'm using a sub with the Continuum, but this will be an office speaker with no sub. Now I'm thinking of just starting from scratch. It's only MDF and my labor, which is cheap. So vented Piccolo, Mandolin, Docero??? All pretty much in the same price range. Thoughts?
