A gentlemen in Brooklyn was kind enough to do some testing on these woofers, and with the exception of pointing out these are very clean between 100 and 2000 hz and appear to be a candidate for 2nd order slopes with a bit of work, I will just post the data. Pertinent conditions are generally included in the image headers, and the hardware used is higher end than typical DIY level equipment.

As with all such measurements, they are meant to be an indicator of performance potential and should probably not be used to trace and simulate crossovers. These are not SPL absolute.

Without further fanfare, here we go.

Questions, concerns etc can be directed towards me via PM or email and I will do my best to get the information from the gentleman who performed these measurements.

This is a pretty nice midbass, and as I mentioned on another forum it looks like the guys who got their heads together on this spent the money in exactly the right places.

Roman is Da Man!! I just spoke to him wrt these measurements and he has verified that the second driver produced nearly identical results. I have also read a few other posts on another forum where measurements were extremely close as well, driver-to-driver. QC thus far appears to be very good on the Eclipse W6520R-4. Looking forward to getting mine worked up in the MLTL version of the Docere.

Thanks Roman and thanks JR for all the help.

Nick and I (some of you met him at Iowa this last October, and he will be at DDIY this summer) have an interesting project planned for these woofers, dependent on test results of a particular tweeter. The tweeter we wanted to use initially will not be production ready for several more months yet, but hope to see it come stateside soon.

I think it likely that the tweeter we are looking at will work pretty well, and offer an interesting sound and look.

Thanks for bringing this driver to market, Mark - I think it fills a niche quite well.

Just got 4 of them in. I will be using a pair matched up with an SB tweet and the other 2 in a 3way build with a um12/ w apr15 and RS28. The build quality of these is fantastic. As JR said, thank you for making these available.
