I'm coming from the east. But I'm bringing my family for a mini vacation. They will be looking around saturday and would like to use a hotel as a home base. We may be going to lake michigan sunday before heading back home.

Duane, are you also duanebro? As far as hotels go, did you find one? Lots of good options in the area depending on where you'd like to go after. I'd look in Walker, near I-96 and west of 131 if you'd like to go to Grand Haven after the event.

I know a week ago they were working on I-96 at the Lowell exit (Exit 52) and it was a disaster. If you get to the Clarksville exit coming from Indiana on your way to Grand Rapids, get off there if it looks backed up. Get off the Clarksville exit and turn right. Take that to the stop sign and turn left. Take that down about 5 (or so ish) miles to M-50 and turn left; I-96 is just ahead on the right and that'll get you past the major backup.

Aside from that (if they're even still closing the lanes there) it's smooth sailing on I-96. I don't know how I-69 is, I haven't driven that stretch since InDIYana. Hope that helps Ben

As far as times go... Plan on 6pm Friday to start, and 10am on Saturday. We'll be grilling on Saturday, so Friday everyone's on their own for dinner. Lot's of great places to eat fairly close to Meniscus Audio.

I'll be taking 69 to 94, then 131 in north. Any issues that way?

You should be good if you're coming Saturday as far as I know. That's another route I haven't taken in a while so I don't know if they're doing any construction, I always go 96 to 69 when I drive from my house to Ft. Wayne. I do know Battle Creek/Kalamazoo on 94 can be a little congested on the weekdays, but I think weekends are fairly clear.

I arrived at Meniscus about 4:00 pm edt today the drive was long but uneventful. Mark was kind enough to help me unload the Statements II and Finalists. I really appreciated the help!
