DIY Speaker Project PAD

Hello,

First Post! Woot! I actually have a newb question... I recently decided to take a stab at DIY speakers and this OS Center Channel will be my first project, so be gentle...

I don't see from any of Paul's crossover drawings or from internet/forum searches, which woofers are supposed to be on the outside and which ones are next to the tweeter. And since I don't know enough about crossover design yet, I figured I'd ask the forum... Here's a pic with Red & Blue circles. Probably easiest if someone just says which is which.

Red should be outer. At least in my CC build it is working properly that way. Are you doing the split board crossover?

I still haven't decided yet if I'll do the split board or not. When I first saw the kit, I didn't consider breaking it out into two boards, but when searching for other builds of this speaker, I've seen a couple places and I'm thinking that may be the way to go, since its such a tight fit, should the crossover ever need servicing.

I have also built this speaker from a Meniscus kit and it turned out quite well I think. Once you get it hooked up and dialed in you will love it.
