DIY Speaker Project PAD

Hello, eceryone!
I'm a newbie in audio and rlrctronics. 

So my end goal is to be playing a locally stored mp3 to a speaker. The mp3 is 32 bit and ive looked around for a low cost development 32 bit mcu, found the piccolo TMS320F28069 usb stick. My question is how do I incorporate external memory via a flash drive (what usb setupd would i need) or just straight memory to store the file ( how would i add external flash without the need for usb). I also need to play the file from the mcu to the speaker, I assume I would be looking for a Audio Encoder? Any help would be great.

This forum is for speakers, but I can tell you you'll need an amplifier of some sort to play the mp3 through the speaker. You'll likely get more luck on a more electronics based forum.
